   Parents get the chance to join the ACTors!  This class introduces the basics of theatre and prepares students for future ACTing endeavors through interactive storytelling, movement, and theatre exercises. 

Broadway bound: ACT’s Chipmunks & Chipettes

Tuesdays: 4—5:30 pm                                            Location: Vartan School

Classes begin:  April 8th                                        Cost: $150

No Class on:  April 15th

Final Class & Presentation: May 27th

 

   Ride to the top of the charts with the Chipmunks & Chipettes.  An age appropriate intro to musical theatre where kids learn to sing, create characters, and work as a team of performers.

 

ACTing Adventures:  ACT’s Winnie-the-pooh

Thursdays: 4—5:30 pm                                           Location: Vartan School

Classes begin: April 10th                                       Cost: $150

No Class on: April 17th

Final Class & Presentation: May 29th

 

   Join Pooh Bear, Tigger, Piglet & all of their friends on incredible adventures.   Students focus on storytelling, character creation, incorporating arts & crafts as props, and using their imaginations in this introductory class.

Broadway bound:  ACT’s Sound of Music

Wednesdays: 4—5:30 pm                                       Location: Vartan

Classes begin: April 9th                                         Cost: $165

No Class on: April 16th

Final Class & Presentation: May 28th

 

   The hills are alive with the sound of music in this classic, timeless piece.  “Do-Re-Mi” and “My Favorite Things” will be featured in this age appropriate program for beginning singers.  Students also learn beginning acting skills.

 

ACTing Adventures:  Act’s Ratatouille

Mondays: 4—5:30 pm                                             Location: Vartan

Classes begin: April 7th                                        Cost: $165

No Class on: April 14th

Final Class & Presentation: May 26th

 

   Everyone’s favorite Rat is in the kitchen with all of his fellow chefs.  In this story of unlikely friendships students learn to create characters, work as a team, explore their imagination and develop storytelling skills.  

Ages 6-8

Broadway bound:  ACT’s Hannah & Miley

Saturdays: 1—2:30 pm                                           Location: Riverside Family Center

Classes begin: April 5th                                         Cost: $165

No class on: April 19th

Final Class & Presentation: May 24th at Vartan

 

   Become a super cool rock star with Hannah, Miley and all of her friends.  Students learn to act, sing and work as a team in this fun-filled class.

Ensemble Jr. for advanced actors: Peter Pan

Mondays: 4-6 pm                                                   Location: Vartan School

Classes begin: April 7th                                         Cost: $200

No Class on: April 14th

Final Class & Presentation: May 26th

Open to students who completed 2 ACT classes

 

   An advanced program where ACTors experience all aspects of putting on a play!  Students are introduced to costumes, make-up, props, lighting and scenery as well as line memorization, vocal projection & articulation.  

Broadway bound:  ACT’s Lion King

Saturdays 9:30—11:30 am                                     Location: Warwick Museum of Art

Classes begin: March 29th                                     Cost: $165

No class on: April 19th

Final Class & Presentation: May 17th at Vartan

 

   Share fun-filled adventures with Simba, Timon Pumbaa and the other Pride Rock friends!  Students learn to tell a story through singing, acting, and moving.
