Pawtucket Office Staff

Artistic and Executive Director

Heather Kiely has a BFA in Musical Theatre from Shenandoah University. She's had extensive experience teaching children’s theatre classes for several years in NYC. She joined ACT in the summer of 2007 teaching Actsa Jr. and has never left! Heather directed Charlie and the Chocolate Factory last spring and ran All Children’s Theatre Summer Academy this past summer. She continues her teaching locally in different after-school programs throughout the state and is thrilled to be teaching and directing here at ACT!

Associate Director

Joanne Fayan holds a Master of Fine Arts from the University of South Carolina and The Shakespeare Theatre in Washington, DC. This season, she will direct Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” while her adaptation of “Beauty and the Beast” will perform in January. She has worked with All Children’s Theatre since 1993 as a Teaching Artist, director, producer, writer and former Associate Artistic Director – as well as surrogate “mom” for many kids. After a three-year hiatus, she’s thrilled to be back, heading up Education and Outreach programs. She also handles Media Relations for 2nd Story Theatre in Warren. She has performed and/or directed with 2nd Story Theatre, Perishable Theatre, Rhode Island Theatre Ensemble, Island Moving Company, The Shakespeare Theatre, TRUSTUS Theatre, Sterling Renaissance Festival, The Rhode Island Shakespeare Theatre, to name a few. More over, she is happy to call herself a real mom to two fabulous, creative daughters.

Marketing, Photography, Design & Administration

Elizabeth Strout graduated from Johnson & Wales University and has a BS in Marketing Communications as well as an AS in Advertising communications. She is a primarily self-taught graphic designer as well as a freelance photographer based in the Providence area.

Business Manager

Carol Varden has been an accounting manager in Rhode Island and Massachusetts for many years. She is also a local actor, Director and producer having appeared in over 65 productions in Community Theatre and Dinner Theatre in Southern New England.

Founder

Wrenn Goodrum was the Artistic Director and Founder of All Children’s Theatre from 1987 to 2009. She received an Honorary Doctorate in Pedagogy from Rhode Island College and has a BFA from the North Carolina School of the Arts. Wrenn spent ten years in NYC, first as an actress and then developed her own theatre arts program for youth. In 1985, Wrenn established her theatre arts program under the auspices of the Trinity Rep Extension program. In 1987, All Children’s Theatre was founded and has received numerous awards and honors in the past 20 years. She is directing A Carol for Tiny Time and mentoring the Total Theatre Experience.
